| Hi my name is Lindsay and I was a student at John Casablancas in Detroit, Michigan. The experience that I had while attending classes was one that has opened a lot of doors for me in the industry. I learned everything from hair/skin care to how to walk on the runway. I have worked several modeling jobs, everything from promotional to high fashion print and runway. I have also had the opportunity to shoot with a variety of fashion photographers. The instructors helped me learn how to properly network in the industry, which has definitely benifited me in several ways. The people at John Casablancas have been very supportive and helpful throughout my experience. I am now working for the John Casablancas Modeling and Career Center as an assistant to the Director of Admissions. | Taking classes at John Casablancas in Detroit was such a great experience. I took 9 weeks of the Modeling course and learned so much from Justine. Justine was the best teacher and she taught me so much about the industry and about myself. I made lifetime friends throughout the course and still talk to Justine even though now she's all famous with a record deal. She taught us so much and taught us to not give up and she was a great role-model. By following her example and advice I have no doubts that I will succeed. At John Casablancas, I also completed the Acting course. My teacher Janet taught us so much and I made so many friends. Janet taught us more than just the basic like previous classes I had taken. She didn't just teach us, she made the classes fun. We did fun activities that made it seem like we weren't even learning when we were. I looked forward so much to every week to go to classes and see the other people in my class that are now my friends. The bonds we made in the classes lasted even after it ended. Janet even got me a job working with a theater company. At the open call I had no idea they thought I could be a model or actor, but I decided to give it a shot and while I was still taking the classes I was getting offers for modeling and I even did a small scene in a pilot "Checkmate". I still don't even have a resume or comp card and I can't believe how much work I've been getting. I can't wait to get a resume and a comp card to see how much more work I can get. I have always wanted to try modeling. I was told that I have the height, but I thought that I didn't have "the look". The classes taught me how to carry myself professionally and how to present myself to future employers and clients. In addition, I became more outgoing. I often dress conservatively; I have learned how to break outof my shell by means of clothes, cosmetics, and attitude.

| It's difficult to quantify what my experience with the John Casablancas Center has meant to me. When I started studying acting there, I did so because I needed an escape from the imminent collapse of my marriage.
Right away I discovered a friendly and caring atmosphere which made me feel at home. Not only were the classes informative and fun, but the staff was more than accommodating. Everyone was so welcoming that I looked forward all week to the few hours I would spend with my new-found friends.My John Casablancas experience not only got me through some very difficult days, but also gave me the confidence I needed to regain the flow of creativity in my life. Since studying at the John Casablancas Center, I have returned to writing and recording music, and have started work on an album project. I have also been commissioned to write songs for an independent film being produced in Metro Detroit, as well as being cast to play a supportive role in the movie.
My life has finally come alive again creatively, and I owe a debt of gratitude to the John Casablancas Center for the role they have played in enabling me to begin this new journey on the path of life. | My son Ben finished his modeling sessions at JC in Canton, Michigan in December. This was a great opportunity for him. From the very first encounter with the agency we knew he was going to go far with his modeling. Every single employee was courtious, friendly, knowledgable, and very informative. Kieth has an eye for talent, and I'm glad he recognized it in my son. Michele was always helpful and went out of her way to make us feel at home. I have been enrolled in the modeling and acting classes for about six months now and have greatly appreciated how it has changed my personality towards myself. I have also decided to try out for America's Next Top Model when tryouts come to Detroit again.
