I learned alot, like what I needed to work on and what i was doing right. I love how they make everything so fun but yet you learn so much. If anyone ever ask me what I liked about John Casablanca's my answer would go on forever. Deb is really awesome too. She knows every single one of her students by first name. She greets you as you walk in. The stylist and photographer are also very helpful they are probably the best stylist and photographers you will EVER meet! I am so glad my mom found John Casablanca's before she found anything else. I love going to classes, I learn, have fun, and so much more. Anyone would be crazy to not want to go here for modeling and acting. I went there for modeling at first now I also like acting. John Casablanca's in Cincinnati, Ohio has the best instuctors. I would gladly go here again and reccomend this school to anyone who asked. =) |

Hello, I joined John Casablancas about 3 months ago. Even though I haven't been with the modeling career center for that long, I have already learned so much. For instance, modeling in general, I never knew it could be so hard to do. Everyone says, all you have to do is walk down on a platform and then walk off. Easy enough right, until you actually walk on it, then it becomes a whole different story. The first time I had to walk on the runway was at an open audition, with a bunch of people I didn't even know. When I got on the runway and started walking, I was completly clueless, scared, sweating in my palms, didn't know where to look, and I just couldn't hold my head up proudly. I couldn't really think about what my face looked like, was I smiling, or could people see that I was scared. If I was smiling all the way down the runway, does that look wierd, like I'm crazy or something. It's strange, after I had gotten off the runway, and sat down in my seat, for some reason, I wanted to get right back on the runway. It was like I was beaten, but it wasn't the runway that did it, it was me and only me. I wanted to be able to walk down that runway and feel good about myself after I got off of it, and I have. In the past three months, I've built my confidence up so much more, and I enjoy working at bettering myself at doing a "little walking", as most people call it. I think maybe it's everybody else there around me, it's like everyone is nice, and I think they want me, to feel the way I want to when I walk down the runway. I've still got so much ahead of me to learn, and trying to become more comfortable with myself, but I'm glad I've taken the step in joining John Casablancas.

| John Casablancas? What is it? To me, I call it OPPORTUNITY. I have been at John Casablancas for two months now and have learned more than I would ever imagine in just four classes. So far I have learned how to walk down a runway. I thought you just walked down it and that was it. With John Casablancas, you learn poses, steps, walks, and many other significant things about the runway. Also, I thought that there was only one kind of modeling and yet again I was proved wrong with freeze, print, and runway modeling.
John Casablancas isn’t only for modeling, they teach acting too. Even though I have had only one acting class so far, there are a BUNCH of acting terms I didn’t know, for example: Grip, C.U., Cheating, D.V., M.C.U., Strike it, and Voucher. I may not remember them all but I do know most of them. Acting is my passion and is my main reason for getting into John Casablancas Modeling & Career Center. I can tell you they are the BEST teachers I have ever had in my entire life and that is the truth. The whole staff is just a blast to be around and they make every bit of the day go by fast with a blast.
Well enough on telling you what its like here in my experience so far. JC is one of the best schools for modeling and acting in the WORLD to me anyway. They give you hands on experiences with small classes so you and the teachers can interact with each other. When I first started JC I was very, very shy and nervous but now after just a few classes my confidence has risen by 200%. I came to JC for acting but now I am going for both acting and modeling. Thank you for all you have done and what will be done in the future. THANK YOU.
