Let me start off by saying that my time spent at John Casablancas Raleigh was not just a school for me. It was a pivoting point in my life that helped me gain confidence as not just a professional model, but as a individual as well. There is nothing better then being in a family and atmosphere with people you know who can bring out the best in who you actually are underneath whatever shell you may be hiding. At first any ideas of going to a modeling and acting school sounded crazy, but the teachers at John casablancas put my mind at ease the second I walked in the door. They taught me everything from learning the art of walking down the runway, how to rid myself of stage freight, and even the fine details of how the business world supports the life of showbiz. I was amazed to find myself loving every part of this new path in life, and I thank the family of this business who made it all possible. The moment I walked out onto the stage in front of hundreds of people I knew I had made the right choice. So thank you Jennifer and thank you John Casablancas for everything!

My daughter and I Emily just returned from a week in New York. She had go-sees and castings plus a couple of test shoots. The pictures are fantastic. I cant wait to show them to you. The photographer submitted some of them to IDOL magazine and they are being published in an upcoming issue! We had go-sees with Bloomingdales, Macys, Seventeen Magazine and D Magazine (an Italian fashion magazine) and several casting companies plus casting with designers,catalogs on her. It was really busy but Emily handled it so well and she got great feedback from castings. Everybody loved her. We will be going back this summer and then again in September for Fashion Week castings! Emily is so excited. Everybody was really impressed with her runway walk ( thanks to you guys who taught her sooo well!) I cant stress eneough how important it is to be well prepared before you take on the New York market and we were told that they never had met a 14 year old who did as well as Emily did! That was a huge compliment for Emily. You prepared her well. Thanks for all that JC has made possible for Emily.

It all started as a school assignment. My teacher wanted us to write a description about an outfit, and then we had to model it. We had an instructor from John Casablancas come into our class. After she taught us, she came up to me and said " YOu should really look into modeling" I thought "me?" Why? I'm not pretty, I'm not anything special. After carefully thinking about it for a summer I decided to look into it. I visited other agencies first. Something just didnt seem right about them. When I went to John Casablncas I felt happy, loved, and at home. I still didn't think I was pretty. Being 5'8 and only 12 , I went through alot of abuse at school. Not one part of me thought I was worthwhile. I was shy and NEVER went out of my way to talk to others. Starting my first modeling class, I met so many new people and learned so many things about modeling. From business, runway,photography and taking care of my body properly. I was becoming a professional! Meanwhile at school I didn't tell anyone I was modeling. I knew the abuse would become worse. Continuing the modeling and then getting into the acting side of the business I was becoming much stronger. JC taught me that being an individual is definitly okay. I learned to step out of the box and not be afraid. A year later, I wrote a story for my class about my whole modeling experience. I knew that it was time to share it. I read it in front of my whole class. It was my decision to get up there, I knew I could do it. John Casablancas has made me the person I am today. One of the many things I have learned is that the jobs and money can't just be handed to you. You have to work hard for it. JC has changed my life!!! I have no idea where my now 5'11 self would be now if I had not gone to JC. I would be the awkward tall, skinny girl who doesnt know what to do with herself. Now I walk down the halls of school with confidence while brushing the evil words of some classmates off my shoulders. I use to think I was nothing, now after JC I am signed with Elite Atlanta I know I can do anything I put my mind to. Thank you Jennifer, Bridget, Chaz, Cheryl, Pat and Gray and all the instructors at JC for helping become the girl I am today. I love you all, and will never forget you or this experience.

I am a graduate from the Raleigh John Casablancas Center and now am signed with their local agency MTM. I would just like to thank Bridget for signing me and booking me on the new movie "Blood Done Sign My Name", it was so awesome and I had such a great time. My mom and I were able to travel places that were so beautiful and meet lots of new people, including the actors and actresses on the set. Filming the movie was so much fun and it has made me realize why I love acting so much.I enjoy every second of it! I even enjoyed being held in the holding room untill the cast was called on to the set. I was sad when they called wraps, because I wanted that moment to last forever. I learned new things about the film industry and it was very informative. I attend John Casablancas in Raleigh. I'm enrolled in the Female Modeling class. I've only taken up to session 10. When I came the night of the audition, I kept telling my mom that I didn't want to do it and I just wanted to turn around and go home because I was so shy. She & my fiance both made me stay and audition because they just knew it was in me although I was VERY nervous about walking the runway infront of people that i've never seen before. After they told me that I was accepted into modeling classes at JC's, I was so happy that I auditioned that night. Now that i've had 10 sessions at JC's, it's brought my self-esteem up. I've always wanted to be a model and now i'm on my way to getting there. JC's has helped me realize who I am personally. I've met a lot of new people from all over North Carolina. It's made me realize that you can be something that you've always wanted to be if you just put your mind into it. JC's has also brought out the shyness in me. I'm still a little shy but i'm getting there. I definately recommend someone who wants to be a model or actor to come to JC's. They will help you in anyway that benefits you!

John Casablancas has been a tremendous change in my life. Before JC I had no self esteem or confidences. I always walk around with my head down, and never was the shinny penny in the pile of dull pennies. I really didn’t know how to communicate well with people, so it limited the friends I had. But now I walk with my head High in the sky, and I’m outspoken. My confidence grew so much that even all my teachers began to wonder what happen to me. The way I appeal to people has changed. My close friend and family thought I went to see a therapist. But it was all because of JC. Self Esteem, I have a lot of it know. I wanted to find myself before I came to JC. But now I notice I was always there I just didn’t want to let the real me come out. JC has taught me so many personal things. But one thing it taught me and I will never forget, is how to be me and make friends. By that I mean I didn’t have to act like anyone else but me and in the end still feel good about myself. JC is like a family and has REALLY changed my life. Taking class at JC was beneficial because I made a lot of new friend and just have fun. There is not one week that I go and think that the place is boring. There is always something new and fun. My style and look has also changed for the better. The staff there just make you feel good about yourself. They made me feel very comfortable to be there. You always feel at home at the JC center. I came into JC as a girl and know I feel like a Young lady. Thanks JC for making me the bright and unique person I am now.

Hello! to all, My name is Paul and I am the father of Ashley who was a student at JC-Raleigh. Ashley is only 8yrs old, but she has grown and learned a great deal since attending JC. The staff at JC have always been very professional and extremely patient with Ashley. Ashley never had any problems with her classes. The staff always made her feel welcomed and she was never nervous. As for my wife, our other daughter who is 4yr old and myself, it was always a delight taking Ashley to JC. We were always treated so nice and we always felt very comfortable being there. We always had nice conversations with Betty. And I'm happy to say that because of JC and all that she has learned there, our daughter Ashley has signed contracts with Elite-Atlanta and Marilyn's in Greensboro. I attend John Casablancas, Raleigh. It was all an awesome experience. The people we get to meet and the things we get to do are so much fun. I wouldn't exchange my experience there for anything at all. I have taken the Select Female Models course and although in the beginning it was a scary experience on the runway and in front of a camera it boosted my confidence tremendously. I'm currently doing the Advanced models course and it is exilarating how we get to make funky hairstyles, different types of makeup and walk the runway like we own it! I would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone looking to get into modeling or even someone just looking to boost their confidence and self-esteem!

John Casablancas in Raleigh is really fun!!!!! The other students are great and so are the instructors. I just finished class eight and I'm definitely staying for more!

My daughter has begun classes at John Casablancas in Raleigh, NC. She enjoys the classes and looks forward to attending. Although she has only taken 4 sessions, I can already see the difference in how she thinks about her nutrition, skin, poise and presence. She really loves the runway walk they teach and has made great improvements in a very short time. The instructors take the time to point out good aspects of every students performance. So far, it has been a great experience and I believe it will help her in any path she takes. Kim

I have only been at the John Casablancas Center in Raleigh, NC since November, but already I can see a difference in my personality! I am taking T.V./print and I have never had so much fun in a classroom before. Thanks to the classes I have become a more outgoing person. I am no longer shy when meeting new people. I feel confident and beautiful. I have learned so much already, that I look forward to what I'm going to learn in the future!
