I live 2 hours and 30 minutes from the nearest John Casablancas Center in Jacksonville. I have never been a morning person, but with class starting at 10 am, I have to be ready by 7. Fashion class was fun. I learned a lot, places to shop, body type, what to wear. What not to wear. Hillary wasn’t boring and she had a lot of informational handouts so I could get a feel for how to look for fashion. What’s in and what’s not. Our make-up class was fun with another fun instructor. She told us a lot of things and in more depth and detail how to apply make-up and different looks to achieve. Basically, it was fun.

I learned a lot about hair in hair class. I’ve always thought that my hair was okay, but come to find out my hair was damaged. Kayla was also a great instructor. She taught us about nutrition and made us work out and I haven’t worked out in the longest time. Learning all of these things in class was awesome and I think we made a good decision to come to classes here to become a model. John Casablancas is awesome!

Today 's class was about hair and runway. My favorite turn was the 3 quarter turn. I like it because it really would show the whole outfit you would be wearing. Our instructor was very nice and she taught me a lot of turns and she’s really sweet and I like her. We exercised and it was very tiring but it really worked on my legs, calves and we did stomach exercises. It was fun with her and I’m glad I didn’t go to John Roberts Powers or Barbizon Modeling School instead!

I experienced so much at JC. I learned hot to do my makeup a lot beter. I know how to do runway in an awesome way! I might have to come back and take more classes just so I don't get rusty! I loved all my instructors because I learned so much from them. I'm going to really miss them a lot.

Hello, I would like to take this moment to tell you a little about what I think about the John Casablancas Modeling/Acting School at Jacksonville, FL. I went for an orientation to learn how and what we need to do to become models/actors. I really liked the way they spoke. They clearly spoke to where we could understand everything we needed to accomplish our goals. They are willing to help us achieve or goals. My son started his first class Sept. 10, 2006. He is 9 years old and never been in modeling. This helps my son in many ways. The main one is that he needs to do better in school. In the application it was required to put the school's information to follow up on his grades. At the orientation, they said that all students need to have good grades or they can't be in the program. This motivates my son because he really wants to be a model/actor. To me, John Casablancas is the modeling school that I recommend for all who want to become models and actors.

Two of our children studied at John Casablancas, Jacksonville. Our eldest just wanted to gain some polish and help him learn to speak better in public, I believe he took the TV Print and Modeling class. He graduated from college last year and has recently moved to St Petersburg where he has an executive position for a company that makes tape. With two older brothers, our youngest was a bit of a tomboy. She signed on for the Pre-Teen Acting and Modeling classes. Unlike her brother, she decided she liked the idea of working in this field for a living. After graduation, she signed on with MTM. A short while later we started auditioning and before long we were actually getting work. Yes, Mom is working right along with her daughter. We've done a feature film, a TV pilot, and have been on a number of Disney Productions as Extras. It's been a wild ride and a lot of fun. It's a great experience for the kids and it doesn't look too bad on college applications, either. It gives them confidence and grace that they didn't have before. For that alone, it's well worth the time and expense.

My male modeling classes are so much fun. I loved learning the different types of turns, and walking down the runway with passion and technique. Seeing myself on TV, I never realized there were so many types of facial expressions you could portray. It was really quite cool!

My instructor was amazing. She was very specific and spends time working on individual needs as well as groups as a whole. She was quick to give advice, notes, and corrections; not just to us but to herself. She has a way of explaining things so every individual can understand and grasp. She is good at pointing out characteristics in body movement that could potentially be harmful to one's career/ stage presence. I feel privlieged to have been taught by her.

John Casablancas in Jacksonville. I took the T.V. Print program. I really enjoyed taking this course because it let me express my acting abilities. Everytime I went to John Casablancas Center, it was never boring. We always had some kind of exercise going on that will help you later on in life like getting up in front of a class and presenting a speech. I noticed after taking this course at the JC Center that I am more outgoing and more talkative to people I dont know because you got to interact with people you may not know and we had partners and it was a great way to just blossom! And I had a great time with everything and would do it again if I could.
